The Client:
Strings in the Mountains Festival of Music is a nationally renowned non-profit that produces over 100 concerts a year in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

The Challenge:
To create an interactive fundraising tool that shows the diversity and world-class caliber of the Strings in the Mountains performances and educates festival patrons about the history, mission, and challenges of the organization.

Tripstream Solution:
Over the course of a couple weeks in 2001, Tripstream videotaped numerous Chamber, Chamber Orchestra, Different Tempo, and Youth concerts to showcase on a multimedia CD video presentation. The final video ran about 3 minutes long and was narrated by longtime CBS Sports announcer and Strings board member Verne Lundquist. The interactive CD utilizes a web-browser based interface whereby users watch the video and interact with the CD on their PC.

The 2001 video Cd was such a success that Strings decided to follow it up with an even more robust multimedia CD in 2002! The 2002 CD features separate sections for each facet of the Strings festival and includes interviews and narration by the Strings co-founders Betse Grassby and Kay Clagett. The 2002 CD was distributed along with the summer edition of Steamboat Magazine.
